Medicine comes in many forms. Vitality flows between the Earth, our bodies, and our communities through a web of connection, relationship, and care. We are supported by so many, seen and unseen. Before there pharmaceuticals, industrial agriculture, and the extractive techno-culture of today, plants were our first allies and teachers in how to heal. Moonrise Collective centers the wisdom of plants as guides — in finding right relationship with ourselves and the world. Roots, shoots, flowers, leaves, bulbs, vines, fruits. Each bears its own form of healing. Each time we eat, it is an opportunity to be in a practice of gratitude and fuller becoming.
And let us be clear. We do not offer ourselves for the sake of purity, or an elite form of “wellness” in service to cultural extraction. This is a humble wish for all people and places to be well. This project is a prayer, that we might all find connection with that which makes us feel whole, enriched, empowered, and alive.
